WHO?

thomas. i'm a person who likes writing. music, programming, abstract fiction, political pamphlets, and anything that would get people upset at me for because i'm not being a completely agreeable puppet all of the goddamn time! and i'm not sorry!

i speak my mind a lot. i'm not afraid to say things. since we're on the topic of saying things, a few words:

⁍ piracy is not a moral failing, but a completely normal thing. we should support artists but we should not shame those who cannot.

⁍ the freedom of speech, to speak one's mind and protest, to say what ever one desires without fear of legal persecution, is the most important freedom in a fair and just society.

⁍ people can change. people can learn. people have learned and will continue to learn.

⁍ gay rights are human rights. so are trans rights. and black rights. and disabled rights. and rights for any minority ever. bigotry is a plague.

⁍ a focus on military is a focus on end-times. we must look beyond the petty disputes of our fathers and make change for the better.

WHAT?

musician and programmer but this website mostly focuses on my music. i've been described and have described myself as a post-rock musician but frankly i'm not even sure what the fuck post-rock is anymore! people just call any kind of experimental music with rock instruments post-rock and it's so vague and useless.

instead of me listing genres that might be true about my music, just listen to it for yourself, and make the decision for yourself! i could be a country musician for all i know!

WHY?

it's important that we learn not to focus on being practical all of the time. sure it would be more practical for me to get a job at an office, as would be me eating only nutriloaf for every meal.

let's make people happy! let's do shit for the sake of doing it!
